Our Club History

     Lviv club owners of antique ZAZ-965 «ZAZ-KOZAK» was founded in Lviv,Ukraine in 1983. Lviv Club is the oldest and most massive club owners ZAZ-965 on the territory of the former Soviet Union. Zaporozhets ZAZ-965, which used to call «Brokeback». The first car produced in Ukraine at the Zaporozhye harvesters’ plant. The first car manufactured in October 1960.

     Auto-fan-club «GAB-KOZAK» - NGO European type: has its charter, the anthem (performed by Pikardyjska TERTSIYA»), emblem, flag, website on the Internet (www.zazkozak.com) and bank account. The club maintains close ties with similar foreign organizations. Periodically club «ZAZ-KOZAK» carry out various actions, which should provide education to promote the study of traffic law by pupils students and deaneries shares in orphanages and boarding schools of Lviv.

     In addition each year our club makes several trips to Europe, the main purpose of acquaintance with the fans and antique car clubs in other countries, closer cooperation and to visit various exhibitions. We can boldly say that we have traveled Central and Eastern Europe: Poland, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Liechtenstein. In the plans for this year trips there are roads of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Belarus.

    Any amateur can become a club member that respects and cares his car. We are the auto-fan-club only Zaporozhci model 965 ( "Brokeback"). As the club is organization where each member has to participate actively in the life of the club: to attend meetings and events the club. Club meeting that takes place 2 weeks. Also desirable is a part of our travels.

     The owners of Zaporozhets» are very sentimental to their cars. Because, this is really the first Ukrainian vehicles approved by time. If you have seen this car, you can be sure that it is certainly more than 40 years old. The youngest car was released in 1969, the oldest - in 1961. Lviv club gathered people of different professions and ages: programmers, journalists, businessmen, who were united by genuine strong love to their vehicles and thirst for adventures.
